£10,000 could pay for a project aimed at developing a predictive test for pre-eclampsia, looking specifically at the nutrition and whether diet plays a role in the risks of developing this dangerous condition of pregnancy.

Tommy's exists to save babies' lives through funding research into and providing information on the causes and prevention of miscarriage, premature birth and stillbirth. By 2030 we want to halve the number of babies who die during pregnancy or birth.
